Sorbo received international stardom when he booked the lead role in “Hercules, the Legendary Journeys” (1993-1999) the most watched Tv show in the world, airing in 176 countries. Following that success,Sorbo had the lead role as “Captain Dylan Hunt” in “Gene Roddenberry’s, Andromeda”. The first show created by Roddenberry after the original Star Trek series. Andromeda debuted as the number one, hour-long show in first run syndication and remained at number one for its entire run from 2000-2005. Sorbo has starred in over 90 movies including Kull, the Conqueror, Walking Tall, the Payback, Avenging Angel, Meet the Spartans, What If, Soul Surfer, God’s Not Dead, Let There Be Light, Miracle in East Texas, The Girl Who Believed in Miracles, Left Behind: Rise of the Anti-Christ and Reagan. Releasing in theaters in 2026 are Another Life, The Flood, and God Made Man. Some of his many television credits include “Just Shoot Me, “Two and a Half Men”, “Dharma and Greg”, “According to Jim”, “Gary Unmarried”,“Psych”, “Hawaii 5-0”, and “The OC”. Kevin released his memoir in 2012, “True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life”. The book chronicles his near-death experience when he suffered three strokes and the battle back to regain his life. He also co-wrote the follow up book in 2022, “True Faith, Embracing Adversity to Live in God’s Light”, with his wife, Sam. He has partnered with Kirk Cameron and Brave Books to promote morally based children’s books. He wrote two books, The Test of Lionhood and The Bear Essentials of Fatherhood. Sorbo has also produced and narrated a number of documentaries including: Before the Wrath, Bleeding Blue, Standing Against the World, Exodus: Patterns of Evidence, Prescription to Kill and releasing the Fall of 2026, Eating With the Enemy.Sorbo resides in Florida with his wife, Sam and three children.

Kealoha Wong

Poet Laureate Emeritus 

Kealoha is Hawaiʻi's first Poet Laureate Emeritus. As an internationally acclaimed poet and storyteller, he has performed throughout the world -- from the White House to the ʻIolani Palace, from Brazil to Switzerland. He is the first poet in Hawaiʻi's history to perform at a governor's inauguration and was commissioned to deliver the keynote address for MIT’s special commencement ceremony in 2022. Kealoha was named an American Academy of Poets Laureate Fellow, was a recipient of the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation Community Inspiration Award, and was selected as a master artist for a National Endowment for the Arts program. His latest work, The Story of Everything, is a science-based theater production that has toured in various cities throughout the United States as both a live show and as a full-length feature film, winning awards such as Best Documentary, Best Male Actor, and Best Original Score at a handful of international film festivals. In the 7 years that he has represented Hawaiʻi at the National Poetry Slam, he has performed on the finals stage 4 times, was ranked in the top ten of the nations best poets in 2007, and was honored as a "National Poetry Slam Legend" in 2010. Kealoha was featured on HBO’s Brave New Voices series, and he has also made appearances on NBC, PBS, ​the Food Network, National Public Radio, and the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards. He has performed at hundreds of live venues throughout the world including the Schiffbau (Zürich, Switzerland), the Bienal do Ibirapuera (São Paulo, Brazil), the NFL Pro Bowl halftime show, and the National Storytelling Network Conference. Kealoha's poetry has been printed by various publishers including the New York Times, the National Academy of Engineering, Auckland University Press, and Bamboo Ridge. He is the poetic vocalist for Henry Kapono’s “Wild Hawaiian” project (nominated for a Grammy), and has served as Hawaiʻi’s SlamMaster since 2003. Kealoha is the founder of Hawaiʻi Slam (ranked 2nd in the nation in 2015), Youth Speaks Hawaiʻi (2-Time International Champions), and First Thursdays (the largest registered poetry slam in the world with 500+ in attendance). He graduated with honors from MIT with a degree in Nuclear Engineering (and a minor in writing), served as a business consultant in San Francisco, and played around as a surf instructor prior to becoming a professional poet in 2002.
